About This Spot

Nestled quietly in the leafy Opera Estate, Plank Sourdough Pizza at Swan Lake offers a calm retreat from the city’s usual pace. It’s the kind of place you might stumble upon and feel an immediate sense of ease—the kind of neighborhood spot where the hum of conversation drifts gently alongside the clink of wine glasses and the comforting scent of wood-fired dough.

Stepping inside, the atmosphere unfolds with a relaxed warmth. The space feels intimate without being cramped, making it an ideal spot for an unhurried evening with friends or a low-key dinner after a busy day. The pace here encourages you to linger, savoring each bite and moment, whether you’re diving into a slice with a perfectly blistered crust or sharing a plate of fragrant, house-made pasta. It’s a place where the artisan nature of sourdough meets familiar, heartfelt flavours, capturing both the rustic and the approachable.

The menu flows like a conversation between classic comfort and creative twists. You might find yourself torn between the coppery pull of a Burrata-topped pizza or the gentle spice of a Panang Chicken Curry pizza, each bite inviting you deeper into the craft behind the kitchen’s offerings. Sharing plates of garlicky, crispy bread and smoky, tender ribs add layers of conviviality to the experience—comfort food that quietly delights without overwhelming.

Evenings here settle into a soft rhythm, often paired with thoughtfully selected wines or organic sodas that feel like the right companions to the meal. The staff exude a sincere effort to create a welcoming vibe, mixing friendly familiarity with a casual professionalism that lets you focus on the simple pleasure of good food and company.

Plank Sourdough Pizza at Swan Lake embodies the kind of discovery that feels personal—an unassuming gem that invites repeat visits, where the warmth comes as much from the people as it does from the oven. Plank Sourdough Pizza @ Swan Lake is one of those rare spots where everything just works. Tucked away in a quiet corner unit, it’s easy to miss—but once you find it, it quickly becomes a place you’ll keep coming back to. We had both the sourdough pizza and pasta, and honestly, it’s hard to pick a favourite. The pizza is everything you’d want—lightly charred crust, chewy in the right places, with that distinct sourdough tang that makes each bite pop. Toppings were fresh and thoughtfully balanced—not overloaded, not stingy. Just right. The pasta was equally solid. Cooked al dente, with rich, well-rounded sauces that don’t taste like they came from a jar (because they didn’t). It’s clear the kitchen puts in effort, and it shows in every dish. Also, a quiet shoutout to the free-flow water dispenser—underrated feature, but super appreciated, especially when you’re powering through slices like it’s a sport. Great for a casual lunch, a cozy dinner, or just a sneaky solo meal when you’re craving quality carbs. Tip: if you’re driving, look for the corner lot—it’s the spot with the smell of pizza perfection wafting out the door.

The garlic bread was top notch imo. Really made for garlic lovers, it'll give you that punch. The pizzas were okay, not too bad but kinda soggy. Maybe if the crust was thicker it'll hold up better. Pasta was good! Well made and flavors were strong as well. Overall the place is decent

A nice quiet cafe in opera estate landed enclave. Was there for dinner on a weekday and it was pretty empty. Food and coffee was good. 10/10 would recommend if you like peaceful vibes with a nice cup of coffee :)

The Burrata Cheese pizza is super yummy, with soft chewy and some slightly charred edges. The tasty Burrata Cheese is soft bouncy and gives the pizza a flavourful character. Truffle fries is pretty decent too. Some of the staff are friendly and helpful. We encountered a lady that was not totally honest about the billing and the triple plus coupons.
